Privacy and data handling.
This notice describes the current beta. A final Australian privacy policy, provider details and retention schedule require professional review before paid public launch.
Information collected
We collect your authenticated email, display name and login identifiers if you create an account. You may choose to save your farming industry, state, region, commodities, crop views, explicitly saved private research boards (including the assumptions you choose to store), feedback and planning scenarios. A separate optional Premium-interest preference is reversible from the Pricing page. The public Atlas and dashboards can be used without an account.
What we use it for
These details operate authentication, account preferences, saved analyses, modelling and responses to feedback. Floot provides the app infrastructure and managed database; Google and Microsoft operate supported sign-in flows. We do not collect banking passwords or farming transaction histories. Hosting locations and subprocessors need final privacy review.
Question feature removed
The experimental question-answering service, its Floot AI requests and its question-analytics collection have been discontinued. Questions are no longer solicited, sent to an AI model or recorded as product analytics by this application. Historical analytics tables from the experiment have been removed. General operational logs required by the hosting provider may follow separate provider policies.
Retention and account choice
Saved profiles, research boards and scenarios are maintained while your account exists, subject to legal retention obligations. You can update preferences in My workspace, and request permanent account deletion in Account settings. Feedback can be submitted through the signed-in workspace.
Subscription billing
Live Stripe charging is not active. If billing launches later, card information will be processed by Stripe. We may retain billing-related identifiers and audit information as required by law.
